Why this one
The surface is peened rather than polished, so a wet or soapy hand has something to hold. That is not a cosmetic choice; a smooth stainless bar in a wet room helps far less than it looks like it should.
It meets ADA Accessibility Guidelines, including the 1 1/2" clearance between the bar and the wall that lets a hand wrap all the way round.
What to check before you order
The wall behind it. A grab bar is only as good as its fixing. It needs blocking or a solid substrate — never plasterboard alone. This is the single most common reason a grab bar fails.
The length and position. Available in 24", 30", 36" and 48" center to center. ADA sets specific mounting heights and positions; check the requirement for your opening before drilling.
