Why self-adhesive
It is the weatherstripping for a frame with no kerf slot and no appetite for drilling — an older building, a rented space, or a door you want sealed this afternoon. Peel the backing, press it on, and it is done. Nothing is cut and nothing is permanent.
What to check before you order
The surface. Adhesive needs a clean, dry, smooth frame to hold. It will not stay on rough masonry, flaking paint or a damp surface. Wipe the frame down first.
The length. Available 24" to 144", cut to length. Measure the full run you need to seal, not just the door width.
