The pull comes fixed to a 4" wide by 16" tall backplate, which takes the wear of hands and shoulders off the door face itself. That is the point of it: on a door in constant use the plate is what gets marked, not the finish underneath. 3/4" round bar, 9" or 12" centers, 1 1/2" hand clearance.
Meets ANSI A156.06, with mounting hardware rated above the standard. Ships with fasteners for a 1 3/4" door.
