The LH5510 is a medium duty rim exit device, panic rated and certified ANSI Grade 2. Push the bar anywhere along its length and the door opens — no handle to find, no knob to turn, which is exactly what fire and life-safety codes require on an exit.

Why this one

Rated to 250,000 cycles and specified for medium duty commercial use. It has a dogging option, which holds the latch retracted so the door pushes open freely during business hours and re-latches when you undog it at closing.

Stainless steel throughout, and available fire rated for a door that has to hold a rating.

What to check before you order

Your door width. Fits doors 36" to 48" wide.

Your door thickness. Suitable for 1-3/4" doors.

Outside access. An exit device only opens the door from the inside. If people need to get back in from outside, you also need lever trim — we stock it for this series.

IDEAL FOR MEDIUM-TRAFFIC AREAS. Engineered for areas that receive a fair amount daily use such as stairwell doors and exterior back & side entrances. Choose from dogging options (not available with Fire Rated version) with a standard hex key or cylinder operation for heavier traffic times.
