Kerf weatherstripping with a closed cell sponge rubber (neoprene) seal in a leaf (sponge rubber) profile. It presses into the kerf slot — the narrow saw cut already in the face of most modern door frames — and seals against the door where it closes.
Why kerf-mounted
There is nothing to screw and nothing to drill. The barbed edge grips inside the slot, and built-in 3M pressure-sensitive adhesive holds it while it settles. It is the fastest weatherstripping to fit and the easiest to replace when it eventually wears.
Closed cell sponge rubber compresses easily, so the door still shuts without a shove, and it springs back rather than taking a set.
What to check before you order
Your kerf slot size. This one fits a 1/8" x 3/8" slot, with a seal ~5/8" wide by 5/8" deep. Measure the slot in your frame before ordering — weatherstripping that does not match the slot will not grip. If you are unsure, take a photo of the frame edge and contact us.
Supplied in 85" rolls, enough for one standard opening.
