The LH3571BR is a interlocking threshold in architectural bronze. It bridges the floor at the opening, closing the gap under the door against drafts, rain and dust.

Why a interlocking threshold

An interlocking threshold has a hooked profile that engages a matching piece on the door bottom, so the two lock together when the door is shut. It is the tightest seal of the three, and the one specified where weather is the whole problem.

What to check before you order

The width of your opening. Available in . Order the nearest length up and cut to fit.

The floor either side. A threshold stands above the floor, so check the door still clears it and that the height works with whatever flooring meets it.

Flathead zinc-plated screws are included. Longer lengths than those listed can be ordered; they ship by freight because of their size, so contact us and we will quote it.

Commonly used in residential applications for entryway doors. Provides two layers of protection against rain, snow and other water intrusion. When closed, an aluminum hook fastened to the door interlocks with the threshold creating a barrier. Any residual water that passes the barrier drips into the trough and dries up or exits back outside via an optional Weep Hole. Optional aluminum drain pan protects the space below the threshold from water damage.
