About the brand
Lawrence Hardware
Lawrence Hardware has manufactured commercial door hardware since 1876. Its hardware is certified or built to ANSI/BHMA standards. Trusted by contractors, builders, and architects across North America for nearly 150 years.
The LHDPSS34 is a drop plate for the LH8016 door closer in a top jamb mount installation. A drop plate is a flat bracket that bolts to the frame and gives the closer body somewhere to sit when the frame face on its own is too narrow, or when a stop or trim gets in the way of mounting straight to the head.
Buy it when the closer will not sit flat against the frame as it is. Check two things before ordering: that you have the LH8016 and not another model, and that you are doing a top jamb installation — drop plates are not interchangeable between mounting styles. Finished in Aluminum or Dark Bronze to match the closer.
